We are thrilled to announce that our next ASAZ Professional Development Lunch will feature Mariam Kamara (@mariamkamr), a Nigerien architect and Full Professor of Architecture Heritage and Sustainability at ETH Zurich. 🙌🏾

Prof. Kamara is the founder of Atelier Masōmī, an architecture and research practice that tackles public, cultural, residential, commercial and urban design projects in Africa and beyond. Her designs focus on open living spaces and make use of locally produced materials such as cement, recycled metal and raw earth. 🌍✨

She has won several international honors, including two LaFargeHolcim Awards and a Prince Claus Award, for her innovative and sustainable projects such as Niamey 2000 and Hikma Community Complex. 🏆
